The Team:
Announce new features for Discord’s Stage Channels — a place where creators can stream to large audiences —and invite creators to “imagine a place” on Discord that’s a home for their fandom. A sense of inclusion was crucial to the core brand message. Changes in scheduling put us on a very accelerated timeline (3 weeks).
The Challenge:
Introduced ‘Lady Wumpus’, paying tribute to Drag/Ballroom culture and celebrating Wumpus' non-binary gender expression.
Helped people understand, empathize, and identify with Discord so that they see it as an essential tool for self-expression.
